In the mid 1940s James died of bacterial meningitis. Pronounced dead, his body was covered, awaiting cremation. A couple of hour’s later two housekeepers entered to disinfect the quarantined room and they were startled: James was no longer dead.

He vividly recalls his experience while dead. There he met three previously deceased siblings, and was also shown what would occur on earth over the next 100 years, the near destruction of America around 2025 to 2035, Jesus’ second coming, his 1,000 year reign, the imprisonment of Lucifer (Satan), Armageddon, etc.

They called James “Miracle Boy” in the hospital but when he would talk about his experience it was believed that the disease had damaged his brain permanently and he was now retarded. That caused him to be ostracized by his brothers and classmates. Most of his memory of everything he knew before the disease disappeared  causing many problems in school, with friends, and with life in general.

James went from being considered “retarded” at age 8 to retiring as President of Associated Cost Engineers in Orlando, Florida six decades later. During those six decades he encountered some famous and powerful people and mention a couple in the book. After he wrote “Eyewitness To Heaven” some began to refer to him as the Forrest Gump of Near Death Experiences.
